Custom Cashmere Blanket Manufacturer in Inner Mongolia
For an accurate blanket quotation, define the intended use, fibre composition, construction, finished dimensions, target weight or reference handle, colour, edge finish, branding, quantity and destination.
01 · Project route
Choose a Product, Custom or Private-Label Route
Use a product reference when an existing blanket is already close to the requirement. Use custom development when the specification must change. Add private-label work only after the product itself is defined.
Product reference
Begin with a current blanket or throw when its construction and general proportions are already close to the project.

Use this route when material, construction, dimensions, colour, finish or artwork must be developed against a new brief.

Build a Blanket Specification Before Pricing
Two blankets may look alike in a photograph but use different yarn, construction, finishing and packing. Pricing becomes meaningful only when the enquiry identifies the fields below.
- Intended use
- Throw, bed blanket, baby product, hospitality, retail collection, gifting program or another defined use.
- Fibre composition
- State the required composition or ask for options. Do not use “cashmere” as a substitute for a percentage specification.
- Construction
- Woven, knitted or another referenced construction. Include close-up images or a physical benchmark where available.
- Dimensions
- Finished length and width, fringe included or excluded, measurement unit and acceptable tolerance.
- Weight or handle
- Target finished weight, GSM where applicable, or an approved reference sample that defines the intended handle.
- Colour
- Colour standard, reference swatch, Pantone reference where applicable, and whether colour approval is required.
- Finish
- Edge treatment, fringe, surface finish, wash, embroidery or other requested details.
- Branding and packing
- Logo artwork, labels, care content, barcodes, packaging format and destination-language requirements.
- Commercial inputs
- Quantity by colour, delivery destination, target date and any testing or documentation requested by the buyer.
03 · Product definition
Material and Construction Decisions
Fibre composition is only one part of the specification. Construction, yarn, density, dimensions, weight and finishing must be reviewed together.
Woven or knitted
State the required construction rather than assuming a reference image makes it clear.
- Provide a close-up of the surface and edge.
- Specify whether stretch or structured drape is intended.
- Confirm fringe, binding or other edge treatment.
Pure fibre or blend
The exact fibre percentages affect labelling, costing and the physical specification.
- State required composition by percentage.
- Identify any restricted or required fibre content.
- Approve the final composition before labels are produced.
Size, weight and tolerance
Finished dimensions and weight need an agreed measurement method.
- State whether fringe is included in length.
- Record the measurement unit and tolerance.
- Use the approved sample as the bulk reference.
Use and destination
A retail throw, hospitality blanket, baby item and corporate gift can require different documentation and presentation.
- Identify the destination market.
- Provide required label languages and warnings.
- Confirm testing or buyer-manual requirements.
04 · Development path
From Project Brief to Approved Sample
The working sequence is: written specification, feasibility review, written sample terms, sample approval and a signed bulk reference. A reference image or verbal description is not a production specification.
05 · Approval and control
Quality Checkpoints to Agree Before Bulk Production
“Good quality” cannot be measured on its own. Name the checkpoints, tolerance and comparison method so the bulk order can be checked against the approved sample and written specification.
06 · Market preparation
Labels, Packaging and Destination Requirements
The buyer should identify where the blanket will be sold and provide the applicable label, language, testing and packaging requirements. A factory quotation is not a substitute for destination-market legal review.
FTC guidance explains that many textile and wool products require fibre content, country of origin and responsible-company identification.
Review official FTC guidance ↗Regulation (EU) No 1007/2011 covers textile fibre names and related fibre-composition labelling and marking.
Review the official EU regulation ↗07 · Commercial confirmation
What the Written Quotation Should Confirm
Website guidance does not set the terms of an individual order. The quotation or proforma invoice should identify the product, price basis, timing assumptions and delivery responsibilities.
