Start with the material and intended use, then compare the construction, finished size, weight and edge treatment. This collection includes products with different fibre specifications; check each product rather than assuming every blanket is 100% cashmere.

Should you choose cashmere, wool or a blend?

Set the fibre composition to suit your collection, target price and care requirements. A pure cashmere brief, a wool blanket and a wool-cashmere blend are different specifications. What dimensions and weight should you send?

State the finished length and width, whether measurements include fringe, and the target weight in grams per piece or grams per square metre. Agree the measurement condition and tolerances before approval. Do not compare blanket prices by size alone: material, construction and finished weight also need to match.

How do you choose the construction and edge?

Ask for a sample of the proposed knitted or woven structure. Check how it drapes, how the pattern appears on both sides and how the edge lies after finishing. Can blankets include a logo, monogram or brand label?

What changes for hotel use or corporate gifts?

A hotel buyer should specify the proposed cleaning routine and required durability checks before sampling. A gifting buyer also needs to confirm personalisation, presentation, individual packing and the delivery deadline. Commercial washability or other performance claims need supporting evidence for the chosen product, not a general promise for all blankets.

What are the MOQ and sampling requirements?

Available stock and custom production are separate order routes. Stock availability must be confirmed; custom MOQ and timing depend on the material, colour quantities, construction, finishing and branding. Send your quantity per style and colour, destination and required date so the factory can review a workable sample and production plan.
